Off the Record: Clarifying Sources and A Personal Message for my Loyal Readers

I wanted to just give some quick information, because I am being libeled and harrassed on Facebook as well as other places on the internet due to false information that is being thrown around. I have added this to my previous post, but wanted to make a separate one to clarify.

I am not a paid writer. This is a personal blog, and the articles that I have written are my own and are my personal effort to keep my readers informed about events that may affect them. I do accept donations, however, your reading and sharing are much more important to me.

Some folks have been told that the court documents that have been included in these blogs have been stolen from Richard Gilbert or his private groups. I am not a member of any of their groups; nor have I “stolen” information. Court documents are public record, and for a fee, may be accessed through the Public Access to Court Electronic Records, or PACER system:

Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER) is an electronic public access service that allows users to obtain case and docket information from federal appellate, district and bankruptcy courts, and the PACER Case Locator via the Internet. PACER is provided by the federal Judiciary in keeping with its commitment to providing public access to court information via a centralized service.

You may sign up for an account with PACER at this link: Public Access to Court Electronic Records

Content on Facebook is usable when posted in a public setting, including groups and timelines.

In light of documents filed two days ago detailing the intent for the Plaintiffs to dismiss the case against ALL Defendants (title of motion is misleading so make sure that you read it here) some feel that they have been duped. If you feel that there have been ethics violations, please research the California Bar Association‘s Rules of Professional Conduct. You can find that here.

This will likely be my last post on these lawsuits, as I feel that my safety may be compromised, in light of the vicious attacks against me on Facebook as well as other arenas. I am glad that I had the opportunity to keep you up to date on information that may have had a serious effect on the Liberty movement. For those who are disgruntled or feel that they have been fooled, I ask that you don’t give up…now is a time where we can stand strong together once more, without all of the division that these events have caused.

I will continue to post about other things that are related to the Liberty movement, and I hope that you will continue to read them.

  1. Mark Wilmoth says:

    Richard Gilbert is a kook!

  2. Will Carpented says:

Yeah, I’ve read some of the posts by Mr Gilbert… He’s a bit unhinged IMHO. And his Quasimodo follower needs to back off

  3. Shon says:

Yeah, I wouldn’t worry about any of Richard Gilberts followers… if they are anything like him they are too incompetent to do anything to you! :0) I was excited when I heard a lawyer took up the initiative following those horrible primaries, but after law students were picking apart his work saying he was incompetent I realized what a joke he was making. He seriously makes us all look bad and ruins the potential for future court battles on these issues.

  4. Eric Harding says:

I am so proud of you Angie. You have done an excellent job at shining some light into the darkness. Your efforts are to be commended. It is unfortunate that you had to endure all the criticism and attacks however that comes with the territory in such a case. Your work here is done. It’s time to move on. I would suggest you direct your efforts on stories like the Nanny that has been accused of slaying two children in NYC. That entire story stinks!

  5. Danielle Spence-Tidd says:

I happened to find out about PACER when a nice & helpful county clerk answered the phone & took pity on me trying to find out what was going on with my ex-husband’s bankruptcy. If she hadn’t, I don’t know that I ever would’ve found out what was going on and catch my ex flubbing how much he owed me for back child support & kids’ expenses as awarded to me by the custody judge. Searches have gone up to $0.10/page retrieved, but as long as you keep your monthly/quarterly balance below their threshold, they’ll waive any fees. You do have to have a credit card on account with them.

Information sharing / confirmation aside, thank you Angie for writing as you have. I have learned much more than I expected when I stumbled across your site after mention by another Ron Paul supporter. You write really well. If only you were hired to write for the “official publications”. Reporters seem to have, on a whole, become such slack writers with horrible grammar & spelling to boot 😦 We really seem far down the Idiocracy path.

    • Thanks for reading, Danielle! I am just happy to be able to get the message out there, even if it’s through this little blog. I think that we have made more strides than we ever thought possible, and it’s important to continue.

  6. Jerry Davis says:

Angie,. IF….you get any grief from Gilbert…..know this…I AM ON YOUR SIDE!!!!! SINCERELY JERRY E. DAVIS (yes. the same one)
